In order to get approved as a CN preferred facility, the organization is expected to have the best levels of safety and service commitment. For the vetting process, CN determines the services offered, the commodities handled, the equipment onsite and if the transload site serves CN traffic. CN Account Managers who have worked with the transload facility in the past and customers who have sent traffic review and evaluate the potential partner. When CN feels that they can recommend a transload facility without hesitation, the company is selected and added to the CN site and the above linked CN map for current and potential customers to view.
